About our service

We do not charge you for our service and we do not enter into any contract with you. Yourdispute.co.uk is not responsible for the advice given or work undertaken on your behalf by these solicitors.

We operate a panel of solicitors who provide legal advice especially in professional negligence cases and cases where there is a problem with a will or legacy (these cases are sometimes called contested probate cases).

Our panel solicitors are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and will act independently and in your best interests. The SRA Handbook setting out the solicitors’ professional code can be accessed at http://www.sra.org.uk/handbook/http://www.sra.org.uk/handbook/

Our panel solicitors, if they take on your case, will explain their services to you. We prefer our panel solicitors to operate on a no-win no fee basis but this is not always possible. If they do propose to make any charge to you, they will set this out in writing and you are under no obligation to pay them anything unless you agree to this.

We do not refer any of the following types of cases to our panel of solicitors:-

  • Claims for damages for personal injury.
  • Claims for Criminal injuries compensation.
  • Employment matters.
  • Claims for Housing disrepair.
  • Claims arising from financial products and services.
  • Claims for or relating to Industrial injury disablement benefits.

Nor do we seek out, advertise for, advise on, investigate or represent people with these categories of cases. If you wish to bring a claim in any of these categories you should contact a solicitor directly.

Yourdsipute.co.uk is always striving to improve the service provided. For that reason we ask our solicitors to provide brief details about the progress and outcome of your case. We treat this information confidentially, but if you do not want the solicitor to report information please advise them. We process any information from you fairly and lawfully. We comply with the Data Protection Act 1999.
